Role Overview
The SecureWorks Product Marketing Manager โ Managed Security Services – position is a full-time role within the SecureWorks Marketing team. The Product Marketing Managerโs roles and responsibilities include applying deep portfolio, segment and buyer expertise to architect and optimize the end-to-end GTM strategy, collaborating across Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
The Product Marketing Manager is expected to manage all aspects of planning in support of their portfolio, and execute on tactics and functions with limited supervision while providing key input and supporting content into other areas of Marketing.
This position requires up to 10% travel.
Role Responsibilities
- Will own the development of the portfolioโs messaging strategy, brand position and unique Point of View (PoV)
- Drive successful new service launches through mature PLC/Launch process working closely all areas of Marketing including Field Marketing teams, Campaigns, Demand Generation, Product Management, Sales and Sales Operations
- Will lead the development of the content marketing strategy across multiple platforms including digital to acquire new buyers, new leads and ensure we retain and remarket to our clients
- Architects end-to-end business strategy and plan for a portfolio in market
- Applies portfolio, segment & buyer expertise to create a uniquely Dell SecureWorks PoV
- Drives strategic alignment cross-functionally for Go-to-Market and Route-to-Market plans
- Applies persona-based insights to architect client engagement experiences
- Designs buyer journey, content narrative and enablement practices
- Orchestrates cross functional content development and delivery
- Applies data-driven approaches to content targeting and syndication
- Interlocks with cross functional teams to ensure synergistic content in market
- Is able to define and create compelling content as well as direct third parties for content development to include materials directly supporting services, content and tools for sales enablement, and content in support of demand generation activities
- Adapts projects, programs or methods based on client or business partner feedback
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) required
- Prior Product Marketing experience
- Understanding of the security industry and in particular, security services and network and information security technologies
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Team player with strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Comfortable with fast-paced environment, rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
- Strong technical aptitude (understands information security and can learn about our services, technology and market requirements with minimal instruction )
Preferences
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Understanding of the security industry and in particular, security services and network and information security technologies
- MBA preferred
- Pragmatic Marketing and/or SiriusDecisions training preferred
